Welcome to Conscious Reconnection and My Conscious Yoga.  My name is Caroline Brookes and I run weekly group yoga classes for adults (please see schedule below), private classes for groups staying in the local area and outdoor classes in the sunshine. More info at www.consciousreconnection.net.

My three-hour mini-retreats in South Cerney are offered monthly and are a combination of breathwork, gentle yoga, meditation, movement, stillness and relaxation.  They are designed so that you can take a morning or afternoon away from everyday life and have some time for yourself, simply and affordably.

I am also running Conscious Reconnection workshops and retreats in the area and an Andalusian five-night retreat (next availability is in June 2025).  I have a background in business and marketing consultancy, lecturing, the travel industry and a degree in Psychology. I have special interests in  spirituality, philosophy, somatics, trauma healing, finding space and peace, potential fulfillment, human relationships, the French language, contentment and joy, and all that is core to Conscious Reconnection. I see mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing as central to finding balance, and I work closely with individuals to explore the wellbeing journey. The core of my practice and my work is  the exploration of consciousness, connection and creativity, with yoga and mindfulness being integral to this.

Inclusivity is important to me and the yoga I offer is available to all.  Connecting mind, body and breath is our starting point. The rest will follow naturally, and our practice is our own.  We may be looking for calm and  quiet; we may be keen to stretch and strengthen the body; we may want to practise mindfulness.  Whatever you come to yoga for, it is likely that you will find find additional benefits as you explore your practice.

Group classes are held in the wonderful Fenton's Community Centre in South Cerney, with free parking and a fabulous cafe.  I run outdoor classes at Upper Up recreation grounds next to the lake, among the trees, birds and blues skies. I also run classes for private groups staying in the area.   Do contact me for more information, and to be added to my mailing list.

I am an accredited Yoga Alliance 500-hour yoga teacher and Yogakidz qualified and accredited children's yoga and pregnancy / post-natal yoga teacher.
Gift vouchers are available for classes, workshops, restorative yoga, private classes etc.
Please visit   www.consciousmanagement.co.uk for information on how I help owner-managers with personal and business reviewing and planning, through Conscious Reconnection and Conscious Management, to create a life you love.
I look forward to assisting you on your journey.

Good Vibrations: A Conscious Reconnection women's day retreat
to nurture mind, body and soul.  Sunday 21 April 2024

I created the Good Vibrations day retreat to offer women an opportunity to come together to share a few hours of reconnection, stillness, movement, reflection, to remember our dreams and create intentions, to relax and rest deeply, to nourish and nurture, to allow ourselves to be, alone together, acknowledging and responding to the need for time and space to focus on ourselves, without distraction.
There is the opportunity to:
- appreciate stillness and movement through a gentle yoga and breathwork practice
- rest deeply with restorative yoga (I have brand new beautiful bolsters to bring to support us) and a guided relaxation
- enjoy tea, coffee, cake and fruit to keep us going and a homemade, healthy vegetarian lunch to nourish us
- consider what is important to us, to reconnect to bringing it forth in our life, and recording our insights and intentions to take away with us, alongside a small goody bag
- stretch our legs out in the fresh air during our lunch break for some grounding, barefoot walking to celebrate Earth Day, which is on Monday 22nd April
- drift off into the sound and sensations of the gong bath's cleansing vibrations during our final hour of the retreat, bringing nourishment for mind, body and soul, cocooned in blankets, with cushions and bolsters to fully support our deepest rest of the day, in the energy of the full moon, which is fullest on Tuesday 23rd April.
All you need to bring is yourself, a water bottle, a yoga mat if you have one, a couple of cushions, a coat and outdoor shoes, and the intention of reconnecting to your unique self; coming home to you and allowing in the nurturing benefits this women's retreat has to offer.
The retreat will be held at Fenton's, Teal Way, South Cerney, GL7 5WL, with its beautiful light and airy space and underfloor heating, on Sunday 21st April from 10.00 to 17.00. If you would like to join us, please get in touch. £95 to include all practices, tea, coffee, cake, lunch and mini goody bag. Free car parking too.
